The Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise dates back to 1882 and is home to many of Idaho's most brutally murdered and violently deceased residents. Some of the people buried here were victims of consumption, poison, rock slides, and more. There have been a ton of apparition sightings at the cemetery, while the low hanging trees add an additional chill factor.

If you’re into ghost hunting heres my give on Morris Hill Cemetery. Also, hit me up if your a ghost hunter. I need more friends like yall! First off you get pulled here. I felt strong energy right away and got pulled to an unexpected area where I had lots of activity. My Rem Pod was triggered so much i thought it was broken. Its not. My Mag Light was responsive to yes and no questions, through the Spirit Box, I spoke to a man who joked about me ghost-hunting in daylight and then mentioned nighttime witchcraft. I also connected with a little girl named Virginia, who sadly passed during surgery and misses her parents. Follow your intuition here because then I moved to another area but didn’t get much. I’ll definitely return after dark for more activity, hopefully, see if that man comes through again.

  • Fence Kept Graves

My daughter and I were going through the cemetery taking pictures for prom because it is a beautiful place for pictures. When we stumbled upon the iron fenced graves. We politely asked if we could take pictures there and felt a calm breeze, which we know was an affirmation to our question. As soon as we started to take the images my daughter and I began to cry uncontrollably. Just another indication that their is something supernatural on those grounds. I often find myself at this cemetery because it is overflowing with unexplainable happenings at any time of day and is simply put, amazing if you are sensitive to the paranormal. I highly recommend paying your humble respects to those resting or un-resting there!

  • John Clawson's Grave

I was wandering around the cemetery with my sister, doing rubbings of headstones for her birthday adventure. I had noticed John Clawson's headstone and did a rubbing of it and since it didn't show up very well, I moved on to another one that was far from John's. When suddenly I had a rather intense burning sensation on the palm of my hand. I looked at it to see the letters J and C, branded into it. I cannot explain how the marks happened because their was no letters like that on the headstone that I was doing the rubbing on at the time. It took a minute for my sister and I to realize that it was John Clawson playing tricks on us. I did some research and found that John was not buried next to his parents, but in a separate place and was just a wee babe when he met his end. I believe that he was just playing games as most child spirits do. We rushed back to his headstone after making the observation and did a rubbing again on his headstone and it showed up plain as day as opposed to the previous try. It was definitely something I will never forget! Morris Hill is my very favorite cemetery to connect with spirits.
